I love sports. I am not very good at badminton, table-tennis, and basketball. I hardly have time for any sports too. I love hurdles. I missed hurdles. I really crave for hurdles now, how I wish I can have hurdles near my house. It is so much more fun than jogging. I don’t like to jog, it is boring, but hurdles is fun. I am crazy for hurdles.

I have good stamina. I can run long distances if my legs are not itchy. I had never failed to obtain any Physical Fitness Award Tests in my schools. I can always get gold, but I am lucky to have either silver and bronze. This is because my sit-and-reach is the worst. This is always the one that ‘fail’ me.

I never thought that I would be so proud of my achievement today. Though this is all not great results, but I had persevered, I had tried my best, I had ‘won’ them through my efforts. I thought they are useless pieces of paper, but today they are all ‘pieces’ of paper that reminds me of my hardwork. If they are not here, I would probably had forgotten about my achievements.

My Wish:
1. I wish to ‘run’ hurdles. (I wish there are hurdles at our neigbourhood or in school, which can open for public. I had not seen people playing hurdles either. I really wish to ‘run’ hurdles now, if only there are hurdles at my house, I would go now.)

2. I wish to learn Butterfly swimming. It is not easy. I hardly see anyone swim, and I do not know how. My brother can swim butterfly. Last time, my brother and I used to go swimming. I saw him swim butterfly, it was so beautiful!

I only know how to swim breast strokes. Richard and I learned swimming ourselves. I learned swimming from my brothers, watching them, and obtaining advice from them. Thereafter, I learned myself. One day, I just happened to ‘can swim’.

3. I saw a guy at the Traffic light one day (just opposite QiHua Primary School). He was wearing Singapore Sports School’s T-shirt. It was orange in colour. The logo of the Singapore Sport’s School is two wings, I felt so motivated, and so inspired by the shirt and the logo, and the sight of the man in sport wear. How I wish I can be in that outfit….

4. I wonder if there are any vacancies for me at Singapore Sports School. I would like to excel in sports…but given my age…. I am no longer a student. If only they can have intake for people like me, a passion for sports……. My heart is ‘burning’ with desire for hurdles, ‘burning’ with passion for sports!!!!!!

5. I love high jump also, but never really have a lot of tries, and I wonder if it is difficult. However, I would love to try long jump. It’s been centuries year since I last had a good run. Jogging and running is different. Running hurdles is so much more fun than jogging. If only I can have my house near a sport complex, and I can have long jump, hurdles and high jump.

Wow, I am filled with so many dreams now….. The power of belief is incredible. Knowing that God is with me, knowing that with God, we can have no fear, but have trust in him. Jesus has given me hope, given me dreams… Thank You Jesus.
