A Chosen Nation

Singapore is such a blessed nation. To know what is blessed, consider what is happening now to most countries — flood, heat, political unrest, violence, building collapse and so on… That is what I had learned watching the television (news).

Last night, what a cooling night and a peaceful night… it was extremely quiet outside my house, in my neighbourhood. Even now, as I was typing this post, the time is 6.35am, this is such a peaceful place to live in — a place that is so safe and sound, a homeland that is so secured… we have to thank our Government, their credits.

But what is unseen, behind all these, who is the mastermind? As I mentioned the word mastermind, so scary, the birds ‘squeaking’, the birds ‘tweeting’ LOUDLY, so ‘coincidentally’… We must be grateful for everything that we have, everything that we had been blessed. Grateful to who?

Oh dear, the birds are singing song! It is ‘St Anthony‘s’ birds… so many different songs of birds I am hearing now… the birds all ‘synchronizing’ their ‘special rhythm’, ‘special song’ of praise to God… Even birds can recognize their creator, the God of Nature, the God of creation of everything in this world. What about Man?

Wow, the birds are singing non-stop… what a beautiful world, beautiful place we are living in Singapore… A physical paradise that God had granted us. Peace Be With You! We have been chosen and lets proclaim the great and almighty deeds of God!

Kingdom of God
To live in the Kingdom of God is to live fully with God (Matthew 25:34).  The Kingdom of God cannot be earned by valiant or sacrificial acts.  It is to be received as a gift of God.  The Kingdom is opened immediately to the person who accepts God’s forgiveness through Christ; once inside, living in the Kingdom means putting the Word of God into practice, respecting others, sharing with them, forgiving them as he has been forgiven.  The person who receives the Kingdom today will enter it in its fullness after his passage from death to eternal life.

The Kingdom of God is used interchangeably with Kingdom of Heaven.  They mean the same thing.  The apostle Matthew used the expression “Kingdom of Heavens” when he addressed the Jews who, out of respect, avoided pronouncing the Name of God.

Puma, the faithful servant of God, the new and everlasting covenant, was “On the Rock”.

This is the place where Puma’s picture was taken… the usual place… ‘our meeting place’.
