Christ The King Church

There was so much interference while making this post. A previous post was mysteriously gone. Richard said my mouse was the culprit. However, I had made my experiment — tested out on the mouse and it was not the fault of the mouse. The mouse pad was not responding properly either. Even if I leave the computer alone, it would auto move — tabs moved, links being ‘clicked’ and suddenly my post was removed….

Unidentified Aerial Phenomenon: Yesterday at the church, while I wanted to switch my handphone to silent mode, it was suddenly blackout also. In the end, I had to take out the battery and put it back again to restart the handphone.

I left this post and had to tend to the house.  Now I am back while Isaac is sleeping.  So much unusual interference going on and I had to reconstruct my post while writing Job Opportunities at PeaceInspire.com.  I had to restart the computer as well.

Roman Catholic Church of Christ The King(Mass Schedule)

This is my first time going to the church. A black coloured granite stone plaque revealed this information: The original Church of Christ The King was blessed and officially opened by Most Reverend Gregory Yong, D.D. Archbishop of Singapore on 26 September 1982. The Church was demolished and rebuilt. Blessed and re-dedicated by Most Reverend Nicholas Chia, D.D. Archbishop of Singapore on 13 April 2002.

When I heard of Christ The King, I would think of Nicole, my ex-colleague at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.  She told me about this church and she was a catechist.  At this workplace, I got to know someone who belong to the same faith as me — Roman Catholic, but I felt so inferior, not a glamour, such a disgrace/shame to even tell her that I am also a Catholic (but I still tell her).  Back then, they can speak so fluent English and I really feel so bad (low self-esteem) for not having to speak as fluently as them.

The main church is located at the second floor of the building.  The church had a big green cross, the type of green similar to what I saw in the dream and also around my neighbourhood…. On the day that we went (Saturday), there was quite a lot of people sitting on wheelchairs, moving about in the church…  Clara said that there were hardly any youngsters!  Anyway, before we left the church, we bought some little things from the church and had the priest (Fr Emmanuel) to bless them…
