Favicon
Below is a video I had taken on the day I visit my secondary school at Boon Lay. It was taken after I left Boon Lay Secondary School, and on my way to the old compound (the old school, now undergoing reconstruction). I was walking from the bus interchange (Boon Lay Bus interchange) to Boon Lay MRT Station, and then to Jurong Point. On the way, I saw the most surprising scene. It was a special albino pigeon, sitting still, on the grass, among the black pigeons. This is no mere coincidence. It was all seem ‘pre-arranged’. So surprised, I stood there, admiring the mutated black-turned white pigeon. It looked so much like a duck from afar. At first I was not so sure if it was a pigeon! I dare not walked too near because if I do so, it would fly away. I want to admire it more. I took pictures and video of it. Then I decide to walk nearer to take a closer look, as I was not satisfied with the far vision. Walking nearer, as expected, they began to fly away.
Special Albino Pigeon
What can you learn from looking at these birds? There are many things which we can learn from nature. Let’s learn from animals.
The special white pigeon walking between the black pigeons: As I started to walk nearer the birds, they began to walk also…
Do you favour the white or do you favour the black?
So this is the picture of the albino white pigeon with the black pigeon that had flown away from the ground.
A close up view of the albino pigeon (zoom in from my camera, standing from afar) facing the black pigeons, in front of it.
From far, the white albino pigeon stands out among the rest. From far, my eyes were fixed on this white albino pigeon. It really stands out among the black ones. In addition, the black ones were not sitting still. This white pigeon, the mutated black, was calm and cool, looked so nice, so lovely.
If you think that the albino white pigeon cannot fly or was something wrong, then see what happened next. It was capable of flying just like the other black. It was capable of walking just like the rest (as seen from the above pictures). The only difference is just the colour and perhaps its behaviour.
Favicon: It’s Just Me
Now, back to the main topic, my favicon or favourite icon for this site, Just Singapore. People said I am cool, steady… weird, special…. Special, weird, unique, or different from people or abnormal? It’s all synonym and how are you so sure that you are the normal one or I am the normal one? (Shall elaborate more)
The Favicon for Just Singapore is my baby’s photograph. A bigger photograph of it can be seen at PeaceBella.com. That is my only piece of baby photograph. In my family, I am the only one who have a piece of baby photograph, and my sister is always so envious of me…
Why baby photograph being used and not older or adult ones? I think Singapore is lacking of babies (which is a fact), and if there are no babies, where got adults? So I must be grateful for my mother and father for raising me up… (I spent almost half a day, on and off, composing this… it is so uncomfortable and very painful now at this stage of pregnancy… I have to stop here for the moment. I cannot go on already…)
