Fish Balls Noodle Shop
I thought that I had the worst Katong Laksa. I had already lowered my expectation. In fact, I never raise any expectation or dare to dream of anything nice, after I had lots and lots of experience of ‘NO GOOD FOOD’ experience, eating at my neighbourhood and now, at Bukit Gombak as well. (Even places like Holland serve such kind of ‘lousy’ food! With bad customer service!)
Not born in a rich family, my life cannot afford me to go fine dining restuarant for all my meals. I can only go to eat coffee shop food…
This is a really very ordinary fish ball noodles shop or food stall at The Oasis. I already expected — seeing photographs displayed is always very deceiving and fooling people only. But still, I am already ‘accustomed’ and ‘lowered’ my standard. I am more ‘chin chye’ (anything also can) now that I am so ‘disappointed’ with the food at Coffee shop, food courts and even restaurants.
This is the fish ball noodles food stall at The Oasis, Blk 347, Bukit Gombak coffee shop.
Richard ordered Laksa for me and he ordered Fish Balls Mee Pok for himself. Some stalls in the coffee shop was tagged with ‘Self-Service’, but this one did not. After ordering, Richard came back to the seat. We waited for the food to be served.
Clara’s Ham and Mushroom Spaghetti came first. She started eating. Next came the dessert which I had ordered at the dessert shop… (also need another post for this stall). I started eating the dessert — supposed to feed Isaac…. but it was not to my expectation… Anyway, next, came the fish ball noodles and Laksa which we had ordered.
The person who served and the person who cooked the fish balls noodles were the same person — the ‘lady in red’. She is a Chinese, with long hair and fair skin. She speaks Chinese…
