Glory of God
I had taken two views of the cross (sanctuary/altar place) here at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd as shown in the photographs below. I went to this church on 12 March 2010, the day Richard went to IT Show 2010 at Suntec City.
I had never come to this church before during my adult life. However, I remember coming to this church once with my family(my mother and brother) when I was a small kid. I cannot remember much about the interior of the church (don’t have any memory of the sanctuary or altar place nor the cross at all. But on that day, stepping into the main entrance of the church, with two statues of St Anthony and St Francis Xavier there, that rang a bell! I saw these two statues before when I was a kid.
As I have mentioned in this blog, only the Catholic has the statue/body of Jesus crucified on the cross. My first observation of the cross was at St Francis of Assisi church. That is the place where I had an idea of who Jesus really is… meaning, you can visualize what really the cross is all about (as a kid, I really don’t know what is God and what the cross is all about).

Cathedral of the Good Shepherd showing the interior of the church, the sanctuary.
See the rays of light radiating from the cross. This shows the Glory of God. Jesus saves me, the lost sheep. Jesus is really the Good Shepherd… Besides the main entrance, you can see another statue of the Good Shepherd which says: I am the Good Shepherd. I know my own and my own know me.This is really the Holy Apostolic Catholic Church…

[...] Look at this photograph above. The black part is my window grille. I don’t know how to describe this, but the sky was so special, just like the day I saw the throne of God. It was so huge, and I had to withdraw back, to capture a much bigger ‘portion’ of this ’special LIGHT‘. [...]
