Jack Neo

Singapore veteran film-maker and entertainer Jack Neo admits to having an affair with a 22-year-old model, Wendy Chong. I saw The New Paper headlines on Sunday 7th March 2010. Richard told me and I cannot believe it until I saw what was really in the paper and the accompanying photographs.

At first, I thought that everything was something to ‘stir’ up a commotion, something like a publicity stunt to promote his upcoming movie “Being Human” (做人). However, after reading the news and especially more news these few days, I think that everything must be real…

I read with interest on Sunday with regards to this news of Jack’s affair. Who would believe that this seemingly successful ‘Liang dao yan’ (梁导演), a married man with a pretty wife and four children, would do such a thing! Even the children are amazed.

Jack Neo, full name: Jack Neo Chee Keong, 梁智强, born 24 January 1960, is a Singaporean actor, host and film-maker, most notably known for his comedic acts and skits… (To read more at Jack Neo Wikipedia)

As a layperson or an ordinary housewife, what I know about Jack Neo is merely from the media, through the years of watching his television programmes. I am not acquainted to him in any manner at all. The only time I had seen him ‘live’ was many years ago when I was a child at the studio (TCS) watching his variety show.

This is Jack Neo’s wife, Madam Irene Kng, 46 as shown in the above photograph. This is not the first time I seen her in the media. They were shown in the television programmes as a model happy marriage couple revealing their ‘secret’ recipe all these years…

Jack Neo confesses to 2-year affair with 22-year-old model in the photograph above. The trio met at a restaurant at Changi Airport’s Crowne Plaza hotel (in a car driven by Madam Kng, after the mistress went to their semi-detached house at Pasir Ris.)
