Kingdom of God
Christianity began in Judaea, when it was a Roman province, with the powerful teaching and works, especially of healing, of Jesus of Nazareth… The resurrection is the foundation of Christianity…
Jesus was the one who brings in the kingdom of God on earth, who was known as the Messiah. The Greek for Messiah is christos, so the followers of Jesus called him Christ and began themselves to be called Christians in Antioch about 15 years after his death.
Jesus is the Incarnation of God, and thus he is both God and man, a perfect joining together of those two natures in one person. Jesus was more than a human teacher and healer: as he had made clear, all that he did and said came, not from himself, but from God working in and through him. From the start, Christians continued to call him by his human name Jesus, but they believed that he was the reality of God in the world. From the earliest writings in the New Testament, Jesus is so closely associated with God that he is to be honoured and worshipped as only God can be…
Christianity has spread to every country in the world… Jesus has given this command to his disciples: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28.19)
There are so many religions in this world and this is a question that puzzled me. Which is the one real God, and also the most powerful God? I am so fortunate to be born in a Catholic family (since the religion is often passed down), and so fortunate that I am being saved (the forgiveness of sins) as a result…
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words.” ~ John 14:23-24
If you had read my blogs, my stories, you would have known that Jesus Has Indeed Come to make home with me… and he had given me so much gifts. One of the gifts which he had given me, which I called this plant “Kingdom of God” now, is the Bryophyllum which you can see in the photographs below.
Planting The Kingdom of God
Two years back, the plant was not as huge as it is today. But at that time, when it had grown miraculously overnight, it was considered huge as compared to the rest of the plants beside it. Two years later, which is now, it cannot be compared to any of the other Bryophyllum plants nearby. Its growth was tremendous. Its stalk had grown so strong and it has even peripheral roots growing now. It is simply amazing and I had decided to repot it 20 August 2010, last Friday….
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered….” ~ John 15:4-6
“…you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” ~ John 14:20-21
Concept of Relativity
From a small Bryophyllum plant (which I had thought to be a giant at that time, 2 years ago), now the ‘giant’ plant had grown so strong and even more sturdy as you can see below (repotted). It is so humongous and even more ‘giant’ than before…
“…I say to you, ‘unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God…. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” ~ John 3:3-6

[...] Kingdom of God To live in the Kingdom of God is to live fully with God (Matthew 25:34). The Kingdom of God cannot be earned by valiant or sacrificial acts. It is to be received as a gift of God. The Kingdom is opened immediately to the person who accepts God’s forgiveness through Christ; once inside, living in the Kingdom means putting the Word of God into practice, respecting others, sharing with them, forgiving them as he has been forgiven. The person who receives the Kingdom today will enter it in its fullness after his passage from death to eternal life. [...]
