Mozzie Wipeout?
9 April 2010 at about 1pm, the stagnant pool of water at the carpark rooftop was drained. 14 April 2010, in the morning at about 8.50am, I took a photograph of the carpark rooftop with a pool of water again. Around noon time, 11.47am, took another photograph of the carpark rooftop with a crow perching on it. The raven or the crow flew onto the rooftop and walked to the pool of water, drinking water from there.
This is the first time I saw the raven or the crow flying to the carpark, resting on the rooftop. I always see the turtle doves or peaceful doves, mynas, pigeons or black-neck oriole flying or walking on the carpark (not the crow).
“If They breed, you will bleed…. Stop Dengue. Act Now!”
Who will act in this case? Who will be fined? Who is responsible?

Is this the Town Council’s Job, NEA or is it HDB Cark park responsibility? Who are we to seek then? Is there any ‘ranger’ in charge of all these?
Walking along the pathways in my neighbourhood, I saw puddle of water which are all potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes. The drainage for the drains along this ‘non obvious’ places are often ignored, just like this carpark rooftop. This carpark rooftop is high up, and is ‘understandable’ if people have overlooked the need maintenance. But in the pavement, in the park and park connector, there should be someone doing it (to check the premises I mean — such as park ranger)… anyway we shall see.
(I can only see the other rooftop. I cannot even see what is above me (my house’s rooftop). Can you imagine if such things can happen to the carpark, why not the rooftop of any other place?)
I had seen that some Dengue Hotspots have been solved. Thank You Once again.
The Issue:
