QiHua Heritage

It is the school holidays now. Yesterday Clara went back to school for supplementary class. Today she went to school for supplementary class as well (scheduled 2-4pm. She walked to school at 1.45pm.

At 2.10pm, I heard my door bell rang. Surprisingly it was Clara. I wondered why she was back from school! She told me that her teacher was sick… Later, she told me that she saw ‘a lady’ in the school. She drew on a piece of paper, telling me the exact position where she saw the ‘lady’. The ‘lady’ was standing near the school’s heritage centre. She was wearing blue shirt and black skirt…

On 21 May 2010 (Friday), the children were having their 1.6km run((physical fitness test) in the school. As Clara did not come out of the school (supposed to release at 4pm), I decided to go to the General Office to ask…

I was surprised to see another new corner in the school — “Our Heritage” at the right side of the General Office. Again, I did not expect to go inside the school. I was only carrying my handphone along. I was carrying Isaac and my hands were not stable. Lots of photographs taken were not clear as a result.

Photographs of olden days school with trophies displayed for the students to see.

Lots of things to be seen at this “Our Heritage” corner. There are old report books, some Mathematical books, old “toys” and lots of old photographs (Black and White).

At this corner displaying the school’s heritage, there are computers for students to use too. I think the school has done a lot of work to improve on their school (a learning environment) which is very good… but there are room for improvement…

(as I was typing this post, the white spotted dove and black dove (not uploaded yet)) appeared at the opposite block, showing themselves just outside my windows….) At this instant, they are still there…. I just found the past post 8.8.08 (auspicious number, auspicious day) that I had written about them. Now they are ‘singing’ — amazing!
