School Management
Clara was scheduled to have her 1.6km (Wave 1) NAPFA (National Physical Fitness Award) Test from 3.30pm to 4pm. At 4pm I went to school to fetch her. I waited at Gate B… witnessing all the parents/maids who were waiting for the students who were in the school… (this shall be dealt with later)
I waited so long outside the gate, almost for 15minutes and she was nowhere to be seen. At around 4.15pm, I saw two boys coming to the gate to tell the parent/maid that they would be late. I took this opportunity to ask them what had happened and why the delay. According to the boys, the running was delayed. This boy is from Primary Five also, and he is not of the same class as Clara. Apparently, Clara had not even started their 1.6km run yet, even at 4.15pm! The boy said that it might end at 6pm!
I decided to make more enquiries on what exactly happened. This is so irresponsible of them (whoever concern) — there is no sense of timing at all, and parents are NOT INFORMED of any latest development at all.
I approached the security guards to see if they know anything about this issue. They do not know anything either. They asked me to go General Office to check…
On 21 May 2010 @ 4.23pm this photograph was taken at QiHua Primary School Foyer, just outside the General Office.
You can see students at the second floor (outside the hall). There were no teachers around to be seen. So many teachers here and there, the place was so noisy and messy — not exaggerating… as you can see from below photograph:
Two students came into the General Office to ‘complain’ about the students in the hall
Apparently, everything seem to run out of hand. The students were so noisy and these two pupils came into the General Office to ask for help…
I don’t know how the school is being ‘run’. There are so many departments in the school and so many teachers around. Every teachers are given duties. I wondered what had happened to all these teachers that none of the teachers are around to supervise these students…
